At the foot of the Roda di Vael there are boulders of various shapes in which several sport climbing routes are drilled. The climbing garden above and below the Niger road promises climbing on beautiful dolomite. Even though the routes are relatively short, they are suitable for those who climb around the sixth degree of the French scale.
Rock: Dolomite, overhanging climbing on ledges and holes.
Getting here: From Bolzano via Val d'Ega to Nova Levante. Shortly before the Karer Pass, turn off in the direction of the Niger Pass. After about a kilometre, park at the car park on the right.
Access:
For the sector "Kaiserstein", follow trail no. 9B on the upper slope side (approx. 10 min from the car park).
For the sector "Kloans Roatwandl", follow trail no. 9 at the crossroads (approx. 20 min).
The sector "Indianerstein" is a little further up the slope towards the northeast.
For the sectors below the Niger Road (First & Second stone & "Laurinstein") there are signposts and markings (red dots and cairns for the "Laurinstein").
