Adventurous Labyrinth path beneath the Latemar: A hike through forest and an impressive sea of rocks with winding paths – an experience for young and old alike.

The Labyrinth path runs below the Latemar mountain range, first through forest and then through an impressive sea of rocks, created by several rockfalls. The trail winds over, under, and between the massive, jumbled boulders, offering a varied adventure (in some sections the use of hands is required). Its labyrinth-like course makes this hike a wonderful experience for both young and old.

Directions

The hike starts at the Paolina parking lot. From there, follow path [6], passing St. Josef Church. At the playground, turn left onto path [10] and continue past the Grand Hotel Karersee | Carezza. After crossing the road near the Latemar Forestry School, continue on path [10]. At the next intersection, turn left and follow the forest paths [12] and [12A] until you reach path [11]. Turn left again and follow path [11] to the Mitterleger | Radura di Mezzo viewpoint. From here, the entrance to the Labyrinth path [20] begins, winding through the impressive rock formations of the Latemar. After passing through the labyrinth, turn left onto path [18] until you reach the intersection with path [21]. Turn right and hike through the Latemar forest until you reach the intersection with path [13]. Turn left onto path [13] and return to the Grand Hotel Karersee | Carezza. From there, follow the same path back to the starting point at the Paolina parking lot.
