Easy hike for the whole family on picturesque mountain paths at the foot of the Rosengarten. The highlight of the entire route is the visit to the Christomannos Monument: an impressive bronze eagle erected in honor of Theodor Christomannos - a pioneer of tourism in the Dolomites. From the monument, a breathtaking view opens over the Fassa Valley and the Eggental up to the majestic Latemar group.

Directions

The family hike starts at Karer Lake (1600 m) at the Paolina chairlift parking lot. After taking the Paolina chairlift up, you hike from the Paolina Hut (2125 m) via path [539] to the Christomannos Monument. Path [549] then continues to the Rotwand Hut and Pederiva Hut. The way back follows the same path.
