Directions

The winter hike begins at the upper parking lot in Obereggen (approx. 1,550 m). From there, follow the well-marked Alpine Trail [9], which gently climbs along the sledding path through snow-covered woods. After about 40 minutes, you reach the Epircher Laner Alm, a cozy spot for a break.
Continue along the same trail for another 30 minutes to the Mayrl Alm, also open in winter. For a longer option, hike up to the Reiterjoch Pass, where the Ganischger Alm and Zischg Alm offer breathtaking mountain views.
Return on the same trail back to Obereggen.
