This winter hike starts from the parking lot under Frommer Alm. You follow the Perlenweg path below Nigerstraße, which turns into a well-prepared winter hiking trail to Nigerpass. From there, you continue on the forest road path [1] to the Messnerjoch alpine hut, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama. The return trip is on the same route.

Alternatively, you can take a shorter route starting from Nigerpass.
