On this beautiful tour, you will snowshoe through dense forests to the "Buselineck-Monte Nigra," a small plateau with a great view of the Dolomite mountains.

This varied snowshoe hike begins at Frommer Alm hut and leads through snowy forest landscapes and over gentle hills to the so-called "Buselineck-Monte Nigra." This is a wooded hill in Welschnofen | Nova Levante that offers a fantastic panorama of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio. Along the way, you pass the Schiller Hof hut and then reach the historic wolf pit and the small Lengeria Chapel before descending to Welschnofen | Nova Levante. Throughout the hike, you are continually greeted with impressive views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the expansive valley.

Directions

The ascent is made by cable car. From the Frommer Alm hut, the path "Perlenweg | Sentiero delle Perle" leads below the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra and transitions into a well-maintained winter hiking path to the Nigerpass | Passo Nigra. Upon reaching the Nigerpass | Passo Nigra, follow paths [1C] and [1] to the Schiller Hof hut (permanently closed). Then, return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante via paths [5] and [4].

ATTENTION: Schiller Hof hut closed due to staff shortage.
