Short, stroller-friendly walk from the village of Karersee, at the Paolina parking lot, to the turquoise Karer See.

This walk starts in the holiday village of Karersee at the Paolina parking lot and leads in less than half an hour to the turquoise shimmering, legendary Karer See. Along the way, you pass the charming St. Josef chapel as well as behind the imposing Grand Hotel Karersee and also cross the suspension bridge built in 2018, which leads over a small gorge to the visitor center at Karer See.

Directions

The route leads from the Paolina parking lot via path [6] behind the information office to the St. Josef chapel and over König-Laurin-Straße to a playground. There you turn left and follow path [6] behind the Grand Hotel Karersee further to Schönblickstraße. Continuing along path [6], at first on Schönblickweg, until the path branches left and you reach the suspension bridge. You then cross it, and from the Karer See parking lot a subway leads to the lake. The route is stroller accessible.
