Randonnée familiale vers la chapelle St. Helena

The hike starts in the village center of Deutschnofen (1,357 m). From there you walk towards the village entrance/roundabout and follow the road towards Bolzano. Shortly after you reach the Pfösl chapel, a small chapel in an open field. A little further on, turn left at the second path onto the St. Helena path. This leads through gentle forest and meadow landscape directly to the picturesque St. Helena chapel (approx. 1,400 m), which sits on a hill with a magnificent view.
The return path is the same way back to Deutschnofen.

The starting point of the route is easily and conveniently accessible by public transport.

- 181 from Bolzano
- 180 or 184 from Karersee, Karerpass, Welschnofen
- 184 or 181 from Birchabruck
- 184 from Stenk, Eggen, Obereggen
- 184 or 181 from Weissenstein, Petersberg
- 182 from Steinegg, Gummer
- 180 from Fassa Valley
