Randonnée hivernale de la Frommer Alm à la cabane d'alpage Messnerjoch

The winter circular hike starts at the parking area below Frommer Alm hut (1,743 m). First, the route leads uphill to the mountain station of the Tiers | Tires Cabrio cable car. From there, follow trail [1A] above the Nigerpass | Passo Nigra road through the snow-covered forest to the Nigerpass (1,688 m).

At the Nigerpass, follow trail [1] along the forest road to the Messnerjoch mountain hut (1,930 m). The route then continues along trail [1B] to the ski slope underpass. After passing through the underpass, follow trail [15] downhill through the forest. Continue alongside the ski slope and the magic carpet to return to the starting point at Frommer Alm hut.

Option 1: The circular hike can also be completed in the opposite direction.
