This winter hike follows a leisurely route from Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza) through snow-covered forests to the Frin meadows and continues to the Frommer Alm hut. Along the way, the path offers beautiful views of the surrounding Dolomites, particularly the imposing Rosengarten | Catinaccio. The destination of the hike is the Frommer Alm hut, which is perfect for a well-deserved break. Here, you can enjoy regional specialties in a cozy atmosphere and fully savor the winter ambiance.

Directions

The trail initially starts from the parking lot Lake Carezza, crossing the suspension bridge, then turning left onto path [6] and following it to the Schönblickweg | Via Bellavista. Continue to the grain mill, then take path [16] towards Moseralm and finally to the Frin meadows. Shortly before the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra, turn left onto the path "Perlenweg | Sentiero delle Perle", which leads to the Frommer Alm hut.

For the return, you can take the same route. Alternatively, you can use bus line 186 with a transfer to line 180. A descent to Welschnofen | Nova Levante is also possible via the cable car.
