Randonnée hivernale du lac de Karer à l'alpage de Frommer

The path initially leads from the Lake Karer parking lot over the suspension bridge, then turn left onto path [6] and follow it to the Schöblick path. It continues to the Grain Mill, from there on path [16] towards Moseralm and finally to the Frin meadows. Shortly before the Niger street, turn left onto the Pearl path, which leads to the Frommer Alm.

For the return trip, you can take the same route. Alternatively, you can use bus line 186 with a transfer to line 180. A departure to Welschnofen is also possible with the cable car.

The starting point of the route is easily and conveniently accessible by public transport.

- 180 from Bolzano, Birchabruck, Welschnofen
- 180 from Fassatal, Karer Pass, Lake Karer
- 184 from Weissenstein, Petersberg, Deutschnofen, Stenk with a transfer to 180 (or: 181 and transfer to 180)
- 184 from Obereggen, Eggen with a transfer to 180 (or: 184 and transfer to 180)
- 186 from St. Zyprian, Niger Pass with a transfer to 180
- 187 from Steinegg, Gummer with a transfer to 180 (or: 182 and transfer to 180)
