A stroll like from a fairy tale: The Dragon Forest near Gardonè takes small and big visitors into a imaginative world full of secrets, art and nature. At around 1,650 meters altitude, a 1.4 km adventure trail winds through bright forests and sunny clearings, past impressive land art pieces and hidden viewpoints. The path is barrier-free and ideal for strollers and wheelchairs.
With a lovingly designed activity book full of puzzles, stories and clues, the hike becomes a real adventure for the whole family. And those who are out on Sundays might even meet Nikolaus the Dragon, who guides through his territory in a particularly entertaining way.

The hike through the Dragon Forest (Foresta dei Draghi) starts at the mountain station of the Predazzo–Gardonè gondola at 1,650 m height.
From the mountain station, follow the well-signposted themed trail „Foresta dei Draghi“. The path runs on a gently ascending, wide gravel track through the forest and is ideal for strollers and wheelchairs.
On the approx. 1.4 km circular trail, you will encounter several imaginative land-art artworks, viewpoints and info boards about dragons and nature. Along the way, benches and small clearings invite you to linger. The pure walking time is about 45–60 minutes.
The path ends again at the mountain station, where the Gardonè information point is also located – this is where the activity book with stories and puzzles can be obtained.
