Set off before sunrise and you’ll be rewarded with a fiery spectacle of orange and red tones that will be forever etched into your memory! Or would you rather admire the sun setting gloriously behind the mountains? Take a sunrise or sunset hike to one of Eggental’s six mountain cinemas and share your “magic moment” posting a photo with the hashtag #BergkinoEggental.
Enjoy the spectacle and set your phone’s camera to “panorama” – the all-round view from the Latemar.360° panoramic platform deserves to be captured at its best!
Is it Saturn, Mars or Jupiter? Walk along the popular Planet Path, discover its stations with interesting facts about our solar system and take a picture of the planets!
Take a picture next to the imposing bronze eagle monument – a tribute to Theodor Christomannos, a pioneer of tourism in the Dolomites and an important figure for the Eggental valley.
Sustainability is one of the core values here in the Eggental valley – support our efforts! Use your complimentary Guestpass to travel by bus to the various hiking trails and sights and share a picture of your “green” trips with us.
After all that walking and climbing, you really deserve a special treat: choosing from the scrumptious specialities served in the many huts, refuges and restaurants in the Eggental valley might turn out to be the greatest challenge of them all! The Eggental Summer Challenge is open to all walkers and hikers who book their accommodation at one of the many affiliate establishments of the Eggental tourist associations. If you have a sense of adventure and wish to explore the valley, this challenge is for you.
The lift facilities are open from June to November 2024, and you can choose any time during this period. When you start, you have ten days to complete all the six challenges that make up the Eggental Summer Challenge. It couldn’t be more simple!
