Roughly a one-hour hike from the village centre of Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen, the remote St. Agatha church rises up on a hilltop.

The snowshoe hike in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente offers an unforgettable winter experience with breathtaking panoramic views. Only about an hour's walk from the village center, the trail leads through snow-covered forests and vast winter landscapes to the idyllically situated St. Agatha's Church, which sits enthroned on a hill in secluded silence.

Directions

From the parking lot behind the sports zone on the path [5] to the Oberkoflhof. From here, trail A leads to the little St. Agata church. The church is closed, but the key can be obtained from the Unterkoflhof farm. There is a nice area to rest in front of the church. The hike leads back to the Unterkoflhof farm (10 min). The return leg is via the forest road from Unterkoflhof farm back to the village.
