Special attention at Biohof Oberwerkstatt is given to the Valais Blackneck goats.
They are not only beautiful to look at but also provide part of the milk used in the goat milk products. The brown Alpine goats not only add variety in color but also contribute to the calm atmosphere of the herd with their gentle temperament.
At the goat dairy, located at an altitude of 1,400 meters in Eggen, goat’s milk is processed three times a week. During the guided cheese dairy tour, you’ll gain insight into how the goat cheese is made.
