Where nature takes the spotlight

A UNESCO World Heritage landscape waiting to be explored

Set between the iconic peaks of Rosengarten and Latemar, Eggental is a valley where the Dolomites reveal their most authentic side. As part of the UNESCO World Heritage, this alpine landscape combines dramatic scenery with a deep sense of tranquillity.

Here, unspoiled nature meets a mindful approach to tourism. Awarded the internationally recognized GSTC certification, Eggental stands for sustainability, regional identity, and experiences that respect the environment.

In winter, the two ski areas Carezza Dolomites and Latemar Dolomites open up a diverse world of snow experiences. From perfectly groomed slopes and cross country trails to winter hiking and snowshoeing routes, the valley offers countless ways to enjoy the season. Night skiing and tobogganing in Obereggen add a special touch and extend the experience well into the evening.

When the snow melts, the landscape transforms into a vast outdoor playground. With over 500 km of hiking trails, 200 km of mountain bike routes, via ferratas and golf courses, Eggental invites you to explore the Dolomites at your own pace.

All year round, the valley attracts outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those seeking both activity and relaxation. From traditional mountain huts to refined restaurants, local traditions meet alpine cuisine, creating memorable moments beyond the outdoors.
