It is the Mittersee | Lago di Mezzo – a hidden natural gem in the forest that only exists for a short time in spring (around May-June depending on the weather). During this period, a meadow transforms into a lake filled with icy meltwater at just 8°C. By July, however, it usually disappears without a trace. As long as it is there, the Mittersee | Lago di Mezzo is considered a true natural spectacle and an insider tip. The bravest even dare to jump into the refreshing water or take a little ride on the raft.
