During this period, a meadow transforms into a lake filled with icy meltwater at just 8°C. By July, however, it usually disappears without a trace. As long as it is there, the Mittersee | Lago di Mezzo is considered a true natural spectacle and an insider tip. The bravest even dare to jump into the refreshing water or take a little ride on the raft.
