Hiking tours in South Tyrol’s Eggental valley

The Dolomites, a world made for walkers

There is an extensive network of wonderful tours here, where the Dolomite peaks of the Rosengarten and Latemar massifs touch the sky, lush green meadows spread across high plateaus and far-reaching views offer plenty of photo opportunities.

There are 500 kilometres of hiking paths to suit all fitness levels and individual hiking preferences in the mountains of the Eggental valley, over the peaks and sometimes through them, past rustic farmsteads, over picturesque cols and across spectacular passes. From short walks to day tours of mountain refuges, the hiking world of the Eggental valley offers as many facets as the landscape itself! It is also vitally important to be prepared when setting off into the mountains, with awareness and safety always taking priority. You can find some helpful tips here for your next tour in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Eggental Dolomites. Enjoy it to the full!

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to various natural events, some hiking trails or sections thereof may be closed at short notice. Therefore always first inform yourself that the trails are in a safe condition before starting any tour
