E-bike sharing in the Eggental Valley: Step on the pedals, get set, go!

On two wheels in the valley of the Dolomite giants - Available again from June 2024

Jump conveniently into the saddle in Deutschnofen, take a ride in the fresh air and then drop the bike off again in Obereggen. Or in Welschnofen. Or perhaps in Carezza! Decide for yourself where you want to hire an e-bike from and where you want to drop it back off.

The high-spec Ghost e-bike is versatile and comfortable to use.

Overall, five cycle hire shops are taking part in this project:

What is e-bike sharing?

E-bike sharing is the temporary hire of e-bikes. Different providers make bikes available, which you can rent flexibly and just for short journeys.

And this is how it works:

You can book your e-bike conveniently 12 hours in advance online on and select your pick-up and drop-off locations. Payment is also made online via credit card or Paypal.

E-bike sharing is right for you if…

... you are looking for an alternative to transport with a private car or public transport.
... you only want to travel a short or medium distance with the e-bike.
... you don’t want to use an e-bike regularly, but rather just spontaneously.
... you want to go on one of the many “Hike & Bike” tours in the Eggental Valley.

What are the advantages of e-bike sharing?

The environment: The car stays at home, thus lowering traffic volumes and emissions in the valley. Have you already thought about switching from car to e-bike? E-bike sharing will make this step easier for you!
Social fairness: Anyone can use an e-bike, without having to buy one right away.
Spontaneity: E-bikes can be used flexibly.
