Petersberg/Monte San Pietro in South Tyrol’s Eggental Valley

A mountain hamlet with plenty of character

Just a few kilometres from Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente lies the delightful hamlet of Petersberg (1,389 metres a.s.l.) with its 700 souls. Small by no means equals dull, though: fans of sports and culture alike will find plenty to see and do on holiday here – from the golf course to the pilgrimage church and the nearby regional capital of Bolzano/Bozen. Winter lovers too can enjoy the slopes, cable cars and glittering peaks of the Dolomites to the full, thanks to the nearby Obereggen ski area and idyllic snowshoe tours. There is a true mountain holiday awaiting here in every corner and behind every tree – in the 4-star hotels, in the guesthouses, in holiday apartments, on farms or with private hosts!!
