Tips for the holiday with your four-legged friend

A holiday in the Dolomites of Eggental is relaxing and healthy for everyone. With a few practical tips, your holiday with your dog in the Eggental will be an unforgettable experience. 

1. The journey 
   Make sure that your dog is adequately secured during arrival and departure. Remember to make stops, your faithful companion needs these to drink, eat and walk. Once you arrive in Eggentak, give your dog a little time before you set off on a tour of discovery. He needs this time to get used to the mountain climate.

2. Excursions and walks with your dog
   Which walks or excursions are best suited for your four-legged friend depends of course on the dog itself. Some dogs are athletic and active, while others are a little slower. In Eggentak there is a wide range of walks for four-legged friends and their masters.
   
   In any case, the flat, wide paths in the woods are best suited. But also in the higher areas of the Rosengarten and Latemar you will find a good choice of walks with dogs. Just come and visit one of our information offices and we will be happy to advise you. 
   
   Your dog can also accompany you in the cable cars (on a leash and with a muzzle) and on the chairlifts (please remember that not every dog likes this).
