Take a pair of snowshoes, strap it onto your hiking boots – and off you go! Through the depths of the Dolomite winter in the Rosengarten and Latemar areas. Striding over glistening snow blankets, walking on the snow instead of sinking into it. Snowshoe hiking, just like winter hiking, is the most gentle of all winter sports!
But extreme caution is also required when snowshoeing! If the snowshoe hiker is on the move in open terrain, in addition to tour planning based on the avalanche situation report and carrying emergency equipment should be standard by now. No snowshoes? No excuse! You can hire the equipment on site in the Carezza and Obereggen skiing areas!
