 With experienced ski instructors by your side, all the necessary gear provided and the idyllic backdrop of an unforgettable winter holiday in the heart of the Dolomites, first-timers are sure to get hooked on the joy of skiing in Eggental!

The NEW TO SKI package is designed for everyone: young or young at heart – kids, teens and adults alike. No matter your age, this beginner-friendly package has everything you need for the perfect winter holiday between the Rosengarten and Latemar mountains!


Included services:

  • 7 nights of accommodation at your choice of lodging
  • 5-day beginner ski course (for children and adults) at one of the ski schools (Obereggen Ski & Snowboard School or Carezza Ski School)
  • 6-day ski pass for the Obereggen or Carezza Dolomites ski area
  • 6-day ski equipment rental (skis, ski poles, ski boots, helmet) from one of Eggental’s ski hire shops

How do I book ski lessons?

When you book the NEW TO SKI package, you’re automatically enrolled in a group course. The group lessons are included in your package when you book through your chosen accommodation provider!

What’s included in the kids’ ski course?

The children’s ski course is a group ski course that takes place 5 days a week, starting every Monday! Group courses are suitable for children aged 4 and up. There is a final race, followed by an award ceremony on the last day.

Ski & Snowboard School Obereggen:

Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (lunch included)

Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (final race and big award ceremony)

Carezza Ski School:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (group lunch included)

Friday: Final race and big award ceremony

What should you pack for your first ski adventure?

Sportswear that is both warm and breathable is a must. Warm gloves, ski socks and ski underwear are essential to keep you warm in winter on the pistes! Ski or snowboard trousers and a ski or snowboard jacket are important to ensure that your first skiing experience is pleasant. Ski goggles and proper sun protection are also essential for an enjoyable day on the mountain!

The NEW TO SKI package includes skis, ski poles, helmet and, of course, the ski pass!

Carezza and Obereggen: skiing in the Eggental Dolomites

Nearly 90 kilometres of pistes and 31 lifts – the Carezza and Obereggen ski areas are definitely worth a skiing trip. Here is all the info you need!

1 Ticket - 17 lifts - 3 mountains

Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the RosengartenLatemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
