Timeless Sounds of Eggental

Timeless Sounds of Eggental unites the world of harmony and enjoyment amidst the Dolomite scenery. From the end of July to September, music enthusiasts are spoilt with classical sounds and culinary delights. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Oberholz mountain hut at 2,096 metres or a tasty brunch on the Lieg Alm, breathtaking panoramic views included.  

Our main events:

• Concert by the string quartet "Ludus Quartet", 18.07.2025The Ludus Quartet performs on historical instruments. The program features works by P. Nardini (1722–1793), G. M. Cambini (1746–1825), and L. Boccherini (1743–1805) – three composers regarded as the fathers of the modern string quartet. Together with Filippo Manfredi, they founded the first permanent string quartet in 1767.

• Musical Hike, 20.07.2025
  Experience a unique blend of nature and music! Join us on a guided hike from the Oberholz hut to Reiterjoch, where a special string concert awaits you at 11:30 a.m., performed by musicians of the renowned Haydn Orchestra.
  
  After this magical musical moment, we will hike back to Epircher Laner Alm for a relaxing lunch break. Let yourself be enchanted by the harmony of breathtaking mountain scenery and classical sounds!
• Matinee: Trio Arioso at the chapel of St. Helena, 02.08.2025
  Experience a classical music matinee in St. Helena Church with the Trio Arioso, consisting of Sabine Ranigler, Roberto Gander and Giulio Garbin. The impressive ambience and the melodious tones invite you to dream.
