Gleaming white expanses, deep forests and, in the midst of it all, dreamy glances and sparkling eyes. Your breath forms clouds in the winter air, while a hot tea is already waiting up at the mountain hut. And, if you are very quiet, you can hear... nothing. Nothing except the gentle crunching of hiking boots on the winter ground.
Exploring the wintry Eggental valley on foot is a wonderful experience! The cleared winter hiking trails through the landscapes around the Rosengarten and Latemar massifs will leave lasting impressions in the hearts of all walkers, experienced or otherwise. Regular guided winter walks provide expert advice and company along the way, while those who wish can make their own way through the winter world accompanied by a mountain or hiking guide!
You can find the full winter hiking programme in the Eggental valley here:
Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
