Aware and safe in the Dolomites

Aware and safe in the mountains

This is how you too can protect the Dolomites of the Eggental valley

Sustainability and a mindful approach to our nature and landscape are a major focus in the Eggental valley: as part of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is all the more important for us all to work actively together to preserve and consciously encounter these natural treasures.

We therefore call upon everyone to behave respectfully and responsibly while in the mountains of the Eggental valley – and elsewhere too. For example, always wear appropriate outdoor clothing and proper shoes, take sufficient water with you and inform yourself beforehand about the route and weather. Do not leave any rubbish behind and use the lifts and public transport instead of your car – these are just a few tips to help you remain aware and safe on the mountains, with many more appearing on the following pages! You too can help to ensure that the Dolomites will long remain a natural experience, one packed with happy memories.
