In the Eggental valley, the Winter Challenge combines mountain romance with a thirst for sporting adventure – for challenging and at the same time unforgettably beautiful moments.

Architecture at 2,096 metres

Visit one of the architectural highlights of the Eggental valley, namely the Oberholz mountain hut in Obereggen – it is an excellent photo opportunity both inside and out.

A look at the mountain brothers

Head to Carezza and take an impressive photo of one of the two world-famous mountain giants. Will it be the glowing Rosengarten in Enrosadira light or the Latemar, which is reflected majestically in the Lake Carezza?

At the foot of the Rosengarten

Off to the fascinating realm of King Laurin in Carezza! Immerse yourself in the unusual design of the ‘invisible’ mountain station, which was modelled on the Eggental valley's most famous legend.

A bus journey is fun

The Eggental valley cares about its natural environment – you can help too: leave your car behind and use the free guest pass for a relaxing bus ride between the ski resorts.

Time for a foodie

Okay, the last challenge is almost like a reward, but after all your hard work, you've more than earned a South Tyrolean speciality in a cosy mountain hut in the ski resorts. Enjoy – and don't forget to take a photo!
