As part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage, South Tyrol's Eggental valley has been committed to sustainability for years. This summer, two holiday offers combine the experience of nature with environmentally friendly travel.
"Green Weeks: Experience the Val d'Ega in a sustainable way" includes varied themed hikes. Guests will learn interactively from 21 May to 4 June what nature has in store for us.
Those who book the offer "Discover the Dolomites in a gentle way" use all 18 lifts in the region free of charge from 21 May and until the end of the season on 1 November. Bus and train passengers also benefit from a free hiking programme.
During the "White Weeks: Sustainable Winter Experience in the Eggental valley" from 8 January to 12 February, nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs will find guaranteed winter happiness at the foot of the Dolomite massifs Rosengarten and Latemar with over 100 km of cross-country ski trails and 150 km of winter and snowshoe trails!
Holders of the Mountain Pass can use 17 lifts in the heart of the Rosengarten, Latemar and Schlern/Sciliar any three or five days within a period of seven consecutive days.
