The aim – a good life for all, unspoilt nature and successful tourism all going hand in hand in the Eggental valley. We are making the right decisions for tomorrow today. Our task is to make tourism fit for the future and to understand its ecological, social and economic effects. In short, to master a balancing act.
In 2021, therefore, we drew up the Eggental 2030 participatory strategy. Sustainability – not always an easy path – is one that we must take together, as only together can we achieve our goals.
Our vision for the future consists of 7 strategic goals:
We will strengthen community and cohesion in the Eggental valley, promoting collaboration at local level.
As a community, we are a sustainable and desirable destination that will live in harmony with the natural surroundings and the population, enabling high-quality business activity and living – for future generations too.
We will promote the qualitative and quantitative development of tourism so as to increase occupancy and year-round value creation through tourism, as well as to ensure the future viability of the destination.
We will actively expand existing cooperative ventures, establish new partnerships and use synergy effects to create “win-win” situations for service providers of all kinds.
We will be the best employers in South Tyrol’s tourism industry and will promote a tourism mindset from a very early age.
We will make it possible to further experience the destination by promoting soft mobility.
We will strengthen the digital integration of all members and partners and encourage both the involvement of young entrepreneurs and the presentation of innovative ideas.
Do you have any great ideas for how to further implement and achieve our goals? Do you have any concerns, or are you worried about sustainability? Feel free to get in touch with us and send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you!
