The year 2012 saw the creation of Europe’s first star village in the Val d’Ega: since then the villages of the municipality of Cornedo have been taking visitors on adventurous journeys into outer space. San Valentino in Campo thus boasts a planetarium, an observatory, a solar observatory and a planetary trail that brings the heavens down to Earth - or the people metaphorically upwards.
The specialist accommodation to be found in Collepietra is your guarantee of a heavenly stay. The rooms contain telescopes, constellations, windows to the stars over the beds and even a space shuttle. This star-studded all-round offer in the star village is complemented by a number of special events.
The star village of Cornedo is ideal for those with an interest in astronomy, for those who are fascinated by the cosmos or who wish to take an authentic trip to realms that exist many light years distant!
