Petersberg Golf Club

50 Shades of Green

The 18-hole course at the Petersberg/Monte San Pietro Golf Club is open from mid-April to mid-November and is both a relaxing and exciting outdoor experience for beginners, amateurs and expert golfers. The 71-par course is complemented by a clubhouse, pro shop, plus events and tournaments... what more could a golfer want? Those who have always simply wanted to visit a golf course or get their first taste of the sport are also welcome here. The bar and restaurant are open throughout the day, including of course for guests who are not (as yet) golf players.

The Mountain Beast

A 9-hole golf course was established on the Karerpass/Passo Costalunga at the beginning of the 20th century, attracting increasing numbers of guests to the Eggental valley. During the World Wars, the golfing holiday fashion ceased, the course was abandoned – then came back at the end of the century with – literally – new drive! Ever since then, passionate golfers and golf pros have delighted in showing off their skills on South Tyrol’s highest golf course, at 1,680 metres above sea level, with its Par 70 and 400 metres of ascent and descent, all require quite a bit of stamina – not for nothing is it nicknamed “The Mountain Beast”!
