Family hiking circle tour from the Hotel Moseralm to the Frin meadows
The tour starts at the Hotel Moseralm. A short, gentle ascent on a forest path leads you to the extensive Frin meadows, which will delight you with their magnificent views of the Latemar Massif, Rosengarten Massif and the Schlern Massif. Depending on the season, the meadows present themselves in a variety of colours: in spring in full bloom, in summer in lush green or in autumn in a riot of colour. The surrounding area invites you to linger and offers numerous opportunities to enjoy the impressive mountain scenery in peace and quiet.
The trail continues at a leisurely pace towards the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra. On the way, you will pass the cosy Ochsenhütte hut, which invites hikers to take a well-earned rest with regional specialities. The way back is via an idyllic forest path that gently leads you back to the Hotel Moseralm.
The hike starts at the Hotel Moseralm and takes you along trail [16] to the idyllic Frin meadows, from where you have an impressive view of the Dolomites. Continue to the Nigerstraße | Via Nigra road, which you cross to follow trail [1A] to the rustic Ochsenhütte hut - an ideal place for a relaxing break. Trail [1A] continues above the road to the Kaiserstein car park. The way back is via the picturesque forest path [9], which takes you comfortably back to the Hotel Moseralm.
