Directions

The Sentiero Italia, with this quite long stage characterized by a modest elevation change, leads from the Latemar massif in the Dolomites to the nearby Rosengarten/Rosengarten massif. Starting from Obereggen, following path [8], you reach the legendary Karer Lake. Crossing via the new suspension bridge, you join path [6], which leads to a mill; from there, path [9] takes you directly to the foot of the Rosengarten. Continuing along path [552] and path [549] (Hirzelsteig), you arrive at the stage’s destination, the Cologne Hut.
