From 17 to 20 September, South Tyrol will be hosting four days of joint litter collection during the South Tyrol CleanUP Days! This large-scale clean-up campaign is being organised in collaboration with The Summit Foundation. Together with the three municipalities, Eggental is making a strong commitment to protecting the Dolomites and is actively contributing to a cleaner mountain environment.
The idea behind the South Tyrol CleanUP Days is easy to explain: in the participating South Tyrolean regions, numerous nature enthusiasts set off in small groups to collect rubbish together in the mountains, forests, lakeshores, communities, etc. – wherever rubbish has been left behind. Those who take part on these days can expect not only the wonderful feeling of having done something for nature but also a special kind of communal outdoor experience.
