Spitzköfele
The installed telescope points directly to the North Star and thus shows almost exactly the direction of north. This station is part of the Path of the Stars, which connects the two star villages of Gummer|S.Valentino and Steinegg|Collepietra.
One way to get to the Spitzköfele viewpoint:
The starting point is the village square of Steinegg. Pass the Cafè Christl and walk along trail [2/3] up to the upper village; at Haus Tirol turn right onto trail [6] to the Kummerhof and continue on trail [6] to the descent to Spitzköfele.
Descend on trail [7], then turn right on trail [2/7/8] back to Steinegg village.
Total walking time: 1 hour
