Winter farm hike in Welschnofen | Nova Levante

This winter hike starts from the parking lot of the cable car Welschnofen | Nova Levante. From the main road, at the junction directly next to the ski rental shop, path [4A] branches off. Follow this path to the junction with path [15], where you turn left. Then turn right onto path [5] and continue to the wolf pit (Wolfsgrube | Fossa del Lupo). From there, path [1] leads past Schiller Hof farm. Via path [4A] and [4B], you finally reach Jocher Hof farm, which is a cosy place to stop for refreshments. For the return journey, follow path [4B] back for a short section and then take path [4A] to Welschnofen | Nova Levante.

Alternative: From Welschnofen | Nova Levante, take the Laurin I cable car up to Frommer Alm hut – path [1A] – Nigerpass | Passo Nigra – path [1] – Schiller farm – path [1] back – path [4A] – path [4B] – Jocher farm – path [4B] back – path [4A] – Welschnofen | Nova Levante.

Note: Only Jocher Hof farm offers refreshments. Schiller Hof farm is permanently closed.
