With snowshoes on, the hike starts in Obereggen and leads into the winter mountain landscape of the Eggental Valley. The hike starts at the upper car park in Obereggen, next to the Ortner bus stop. From there, the trail first leads towards Bewaller and then continues uphill through the snow-covered landscape to Erzlahn and the picturesque hunters’ hut.
During a short break at the hunters’ hut, there is time to enjoy the winter mountain scenery and recharge with a small snack. The hike then continues along the forest road towards Laner Alm. The guided snowshoe hike ends here at around 1:30 pm.
From Laner Alm, you can decide individually whether to return to the valley on foot or by cable car.
