Directions

The hike starts at the Lake Karer parking lot (1,519 m). From there, the path goes through the underpass and along the right side of the lake shore to the Templweg [8]. Follow the wide forest road [8] to the turnoff to Stadl Alm. Continue on paths [25A] and [25] to Stadl Alm, where a playground, petting zoo, and sunbathing lawn await small and large guests (farm tavern open only in summer).
The return route leads down via path [27] to the bus stop at Hotel Adler. From there, return by bus lines 180 or 184 to the starting point.

Alternative return routes:

Option 1: From Stadl Alm back the same way to Lake Karer, then return by bus (line 180 or 184) to Welschnofen.
