The leisurely family hike to the Stadl Alm hut via the "Templweg" trail through the "Karerwald" forest is worth it for the magnificent view of the Dolomite mountains Rosengarten and Latemar.
Once there, many farm animals, a playground and meals made from seasonal and farm products await young and old.

Directions

This cozy woodland walk starts from the car park at Lake Carezza (1519 m), underpass to the lake, turn right along the lake until the Templ path [8]. Follow the trail [8] to the turnoff for the Stadl Alm hut (farm tavern only open in summer). The trails [25A] and [25] lead to the pasture with playground, petting zoo and a sun lawn. Return on path [27] unti the bus stop at the Hotel Adler. Take the bus (line 180) to Nova Levante/ Welschnofen.
Alternativ for return 1: from the Stadl Alm hut walk back at Lake Carezza at the same route. From here take the bus (line 180 or 184) to Nova Levante/ Welschnofen.
Alternative for return 2: from the Hotel Adler take the path [10A] until the Lake Carezza. From here take the bus (line 180 or 184) to Nova Levante/ Welschnofen.
