Discover various stations, blooming meadows, dense forests, and the beekeeper's house with observation comb and beehives on the child-friendly adventure route “BienenWald.”

This circular hiking route takes you on a journey into the fascinating life of bees. Along the child-friendly path, you will discover various stations that make the interaction between bees, forest, and humans tangible. Sometimes the path leads through dense forests, sometimes over blooming meadows – always accompanied by the buzzing of the busy pollinators.

A special highlight is the beekeeper's house, where you can observe the lively activity inside a beehive up close at the observation comb. Here you experience how the bees work, communicate, and produce honey – a unique insight into the life of these fascinating insects.

An experience for young and old that imparts knowledge and makes nature perceptible with all senses.

Please note: On this short circular hike, there is no opportunity for refreshments, but several picnic spots. A place to eat is the Gasthof Untereggerhof. You can reach it via a short detour from the beekeeper's house towards the observatory, and it is not directly on the route. Walking time: 30 minutes (1.5 km).

Suggestions
From mid-May to the end of September, guided hikes on this adventure route are also offered every Tuesday in the BienenWald. Our guides will specifically show you the power places found here in nature. The special characteristics of wild and honey bees are closely compared and examined.
Of course, a visit to the wild bee hotel and the beekeeper's house is included. To complete the experience, a honey tasting is naturally not to be missed.
