The short hike to the LATEMAR.360° viewing platform is a real experience for young and old alike. From the mountain station of the Oberholz panoramic chairlift, a pleasant walkway leads in just a few minutes to the spectacular platform at around 2,200 m above sea level. There opens a breathtaking 360° panorama over the Dolomites – from the peaks of the Latemar to far into the distance to the Rosengarten, Schlern and Zillertal Alps. Large-format information boards explain the names of the surrounding peaks and make the place an exciting learning spot in nature even for children and the curious. The combination of easy accessibility, impressive views and informative design makes LATEMAR.360° an ideal excursion destination for families, connoisseurs and all those seeking a real summit experience without great effort.
The route begins at the mountain station of the Oberholz panoramic chairlift in Obereggen. From there, the well-marked path leads in a few minutes (approx. 10 minutes on foot) through gently ascending terrain to the LATEMAR.360° viewing platform.
The platform lies at about 2,200 m altitude and offers a wide view over the Latemar mountain range and the surrounding Dolomite peaks. After the stay, the same path leads back to the mountain station.
