Great views on a circular hike near Steinegg / Collepietra.
Wonderful circular hike with great views of Steinegg / Collepietra, the Schlern / Sciliar and the Bozen / Bolzano basin. Highlights are the viewing platform at Spitzköfele, the "Ölgartner Bild" shrine and the Wiedenhof Iinn with playground and petting zoo.

Directions

The route starts in the centre of Steinegg / Collepietra (820m) at the bus stop Steinegg Dorf or at the car park in front of the Cafè Christl. Via path [3] you reach the upper village of Steinegg / Collepietra. Just above the bus garages, turn right onto path [6]. Pass the Kummer farm and you will reach the "Spitzköfele" viewpoint. This is a few metres below the path.
Back on the main path, follow path [7]. Pass the "Ölgartner Bild" shrine (1,102m) and rejoin trail [6], which you follow for a short stretch until trail [8B] turns off to the right. Follow this to the Wiedenhof Inn [920 m] with its playground and petting zoo. The way back to Steinegg / Collepietra is via path [8].
