The hike starts in the village center of Eggen (1,120 m). From the main square, follow trail [7], which is well signposted and gently ascends. The groomed winter path leads through peaceful snowy forests and scenic clearings.
After about one hour of relaxed walking, you’ll reach the small hamlet of Rauth, a quiet spot above Eggen.
For the return, simply follow trail [7] back to the village.
