Directions

The hike starts at the Lake Carezza parking lot. From there, pass through the underpass beneath the road and turn right, following the pathalong the lake.
Soon you’ll reach path [8], which leads toward Obereggen. Follow this wide, well-maintained winter path through a snowy forest.
After about 30–40 minutes, turn right onto path [S] – the Samweg, which gently ascends to the Häusler Sam hut.

For the return, follow the same path back to the starting point.
