Out and about with the whole gang in the Eggental Dolomites. What’s there to do, you may ask? So... we’ve put together a few tips for you! Don't miss them on your family holiday in the Eggental valley.
The Eggental valley has lots of family fun to offer – in both green and white, all year round! Climb up into the rocket tree house in Steinegg/Collepietra, go on a family hike or visit one of the four kids' parks at the Carezza and Obereggen ski areas. Or visit the high-ropes course in Obereggen, with its four courses and 30 different stations for monkeys of all sizes. And, in the Latemarium, there are various adventure trails for inquisitive explorers on such topics as nature, art, alpine farming, weather, running and cycling! In Karneid/Cornedo near Steinegg, meanwhile, the six stations of the bee-themed nature trail tell you all about the life and work of these little creatures that are so vital to nature. Then there is alpaca trekking, the planetarium, tobogganing or even tracking dinosaurs in the Geoparc Bletterbach: this valley between the Rosengarten and Latemar massifs is an adventure paradise for kids and parents – all year round!
When the stars above Steinegg dance to the sounds of the well-known South Tyrolean band, Mainfelt, 6 gourmet chefs prepare creative delights in old wood-fired ovens in Welschnofen and works of art by local artists come to life at an art performance in Obereggen or Deutschnofen, you know that it’s Eggen Valley’s Culturinarika time!
