Description

Secret Chapels and Local Flavours is the perfect combination of local culture and tradition and a hike in the midst of the intact nature of Eggental.

During this hike a local guide will introduce you to hidden cultural treasures, such as our chapels, and you will also be able to taste local delicacies.

Already at the start there is the possibility to have a look at the old and new parish church of Steinegg|Collepietra. Discover with our guide the many precious treasures hidden from the normal eye inside the two churches. Just two floors below the two churches is the Chapel of the Resurrection - here too you will find many sacred treasures.
Then you make your way over the Pstosser Bühl, past a special weather cross and fantastic views of the Schlern|Sciliar and the Rosengarten|Catinaccio. After a short hike, you will come with our guide to the "Weißes Bild" chapel - a simple chapel, but one that also has some secrets to offer. Continue past the farm Kummer to the "Spitzköfele" viewpoint - a delicious picnic with local specialities is already waiting for you here. The great panoramic view of Steinegg and the Schlern|Sciliar is of course included.
If you wish, you can make a detour to the Peststöcklein near the Ebenhof on the way back to Steinegg.
