Where music meets the cosmos: as part of Steinegg Live, the Planetarium South Tyrol in Gummer becomes the stage for a very special journey through our Solar System.

Grammy- and Emmy-nominated jazz guitarist, composer and producer David Becker takes you on a musical journey to the planets – not aboard a spacecraft, but on a spacecraft made of sound. His music is created live and in the moment, transforming the energy, atmosphere and mysteries of our Solar System into sound.

From gentle acoustic passages and driving guitar rhythms to layered electronic soundscapes, David Becker explores an extraordinary range of styles and moods. Every note is played and recorded live by Becker himself – and at times, the result creates the impression of an entire virtual orchestra.

A unique fusion of jazz, improvisation, electronics and astronomy, perfectly suited to the spirit of the Star Village and the special character of Steinegg Live.
