Discover the fascinating mountain world of South Tyrol on our guided day hikes. Fascinating experiences and unforgettable memories await you.
Regglberg Tour – Maria Weißenstein, Laab Alm & St. Helena
The hiking bus departs at 9 am from Steinegg|Collepietra for the famous South Tyrolean pilgrimage site of Maria Weißenstein|Pietralba. Before setting off, those who wish can take a look inside the Baroque pilgrimage church or sample the new, regional Klosterbräu beer, which has recently started being brewed here.
Afterwards, we lace up our walking boots and set off towards the malga Petersberger Leger Alm – always accompanied by views of the impressive Weißhorn|Corno Bianco. Crossing gentle alpine meadows and forests, we reach the malga Laab Alm at around 1,650 m, where we can enjoy our first refreshment. From here, we descend towards Deutschnofen|Nova Ponente. Hiking along a stunning panoramic trail, we catch sight of the mountain formations of the Latemar and Rosengarten|Catinaccio – an open-air Dolomite spectacle. Right next to our lunch stop, another real gem awaits: the little chapel of St. Helena, whose interior is artfully decorated with frescoes. Next door is a rustic lunch stop where we can treat ourselves. Well fortified, we then continue on to the Deutschnofen Sports Centre, where our bus is waiting for the return journey.
Walking time 3.5 hours – Ascent 270 m – Descent 420 m – Tour length 13 km
