Discover the fascinating mountain world of South Tyrol on our guided day hikes. Fascinating experiences and unforgettable memories await you.
To the pond Wuhnleger and to the hut Cavone-Tschafon
We set off at 9 am on the hiking bus from Steinegg|Collepietra to Tiers|Tires / Weißlahnbad|Lavina Bianca. We’ll hike up to pond Wuhnleger – a stunning photo opportunity – and on to the Tschafon mountain hut.
Over a distance of around 4 km, we’ll climb 540 metres in altitude, which will take us about 2.5 hours. After our lunch break, it’s all downhill. Anyone who’s still feeling fit and doesn’t need a lunch break can walk up to the Völseggspitze|Monte Balzo viewpoint and enjoy the view (a good 100 metres in altitude).
Our descent takes us via the Tschafon Leger down to the Schönblick-Gfell and on to the Schnaggenkreuz. From there, our destination is already in sight, and after a total walking time of 4–4.5 hours, we reach our final destination, the Prösels|Presule bus stop. A beautiful and long hike with spectacular views.
Walking time 4,5 hrs – Ascent 560 m – Descent 870 m – Route length 11 km
