We represent the interests of all women farmers and rural women: Women farmers have always been the driving force for a development model in agriculture and rural areas. It is important to continue to support, promote and develop this force.

The South Tyrolean Women Farmers' Organisation (SBO) is a sub-organisation of the South Tyrolean Farmers' Union founded in 1981 and based in Bolzano. They comprise over 16,700 members. Over 1,000 women functionaries are organised in 152 active local groups and six districts within the South Tyrolean Farm Women's Organisation.
