Description

We are a non-profit organisation (NPO) in the legal form of a private association, which is registered in the provincial register of voluntary organisations. The association is based in South Tyrol, but also offers services in the field of health and social care outside the province. This is made possible by various agreements with the Autonomous Province of Bolzano or with the local medical services and other partner organisations.

The Deutschnofen Section was founded in 1981 and currently consists of 77 voluntary members, 6 employees, 15 young people from the youth group, one civilian servant, one social servant and 3 honorary members. Among the volunteer members are also the First Responder group Aldein and the members of the emergency presentation. In addition, the Obereggen skiing area is in the Section's catchment area, where the White Cross carries out the piste service. The section's vehicle fleet consists of one ambulance and two emergency vehicles.

The section's operational area consists of Absam (Obereggen), Aldein/Aldino, Birchabruck/Ponte Nova, Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente, Eggen/Ega, Obereggen, Petersberg/Monte San Pietro, Rauth/Novale and Weißenstein/Pietralba.
