This pleasant hike starts at Frommer Alm at the foot of the Rosengarten and leads on pleasant forest roads through woodland and small meadow clearings to the extensive Frin meadows. From there it continues to the legendary Karer Lake, whose colors have enchanted visitors for ages. In addition to Karer Lake, the idyllic Frin meadows as well as the suspension bridge built in 2018 are among the special highlights of this route.

The starting point of the hike is Frommer Alm. Below the road (Nigerstraße) follow the path [1A] towards Karer Pass. At the junction with path [16] continue over the extensive Frin meadows, from where a splendid panorama of Rosengarten and Latemar opens up. Past the valley station of the Tschein chairlift, path [6] finally leads to the suspension bridge and onwards to Karer Lake. The route is stroller accessible.
